The Coin Den, Inc. 12/01/1969 Morgans, Lincolns, and Type
Whilst digging in my box of old newspapers and magazines ( 18th Century, Civil War, Kennedy news, Beatles and Apollo stuff) I came across the only coin price list that I have ever saved. It is the Coin Den, Inc., mail-out, with a "revised" date of December 1, 1969. The proprietor was Robert E. Ladum and it was located in Portland, Oregon. I didn't find them on a quick Google search....does anyone know if they are still in operation?
It's a great ad. Not only do they offer 40% over face in trade for silver dimes, quarters, and halves....there is also a registration coupon inside for a drawing for 25 FREE SILVER DOLLARS! AU 1909-S VDB for $149...1937-D 3-Legged Buffalo Nickel for $59 in XF....etc. etc.
