I'm No Supersleuth, But I Don't Think The Seller Actually Has The Card ...

I'm no supersleuth, but I don't think the seller actually has the 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan BGS 10. I guess I'm more curious as to the auction's final bid price.

    When you lighten up the terrible blurry pic you can't make out the cert # but it is a bgs 10. The date of the pic is jan 2000. The camera is in spanish. Maybe he really has it but his english and internet skills aren't much.

    I won't be the one taking a chance though.

    You're supersleuth enough.

    English is the seller's second language.

    If the seller is not a crook, he may be about to lose his card to a PayPal scammer with local-pickup.

    He is also likely subject to the 21-day hold at PP.

    As the economy turns further to caca, sellers will be listing items
    that are incongruous to their histories and profiles. Sleuths who
    can wade through the red-flags that others will continue to heed,
    will likely get some bargains.

    I think he does not have the card. BUT, that is a conservative
    view based on traditional signs.

    He recently purchase a 2.5 million volt stun gun, too. Perhaps to ward off any potentially upset bidders...

    The normal scan is stolen from Beckett's site when they ran the story on it.. those that remember it was the first BGS 10 from the PSA 10 crossover which sold for $150,000

    the second blurry pic (with a mouse cursor in it) is of the screen he stole the pic from...

    I noticed alot of scamming sellers lately....and all of them advertise PayPal.....in the past the taletell sign was money order/check only....what gives?

    They con the victim into an alternative payment method, after the sale.
    If the con flops, they relist the item and try again.
