would someone conterfiet a 1945 nickel?
I have a nickel i fould today that is really beat up. The thing wierd about it is that the mint mark on the back is backwards, like flipped the wrong way. I have never seen anything like it and was wondering what the experts here may think about it, thanks for your help

not allow me to make a guess.
I found a counterfeit 1942 dime while looking thru a $500 bag in 1958.
I didn't know it till I dropped it on the table and it went "thud"!
I kept it for several years as a novelty but finally lost it.
