Hey PCGS! Tell us some Horror Stories (in honor of Halloween)

Something like $10K coins showing up in an envelope with a 1st class stamp. I'm sure you guys have some great stories.
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

These could be better than the random checks and cash showing up at mutual fund companies during the tech boom.....

I vaguely remember a story about an obviously fake 1804 dollar coin showing up at PCGS with something like $250,000 of postal insurance on the box.

The employees would love to chime in here. They are not allowed to, but I bet it would be funny to read some of their stories. Most of us can laugh long after the egg is off the face. For some, it would be grounds for a suit. Sensitive bunch, aren't we ?

Was that the Nebraska Feller whose buddy gave it to him as a retirement gift?

I heard there is a $20 chocolate coin in a PCGS out there.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

(note, this is the use of the word "Dude" that is intended to get you to post pictures. It is an unusual and odd use of the word "Dude".)

Fred, didn't you also buy off the market a large cent in a PCGS holder with a certain spelling modification on the reverse? image
