Man grabs rare coin from Nebraska dealer and runs
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Lincoln police are looking for a man who grabbed a rare coin from a dealer and ran.
Investigators say it happened Thursday at the Coinery. The owner says a man came in and asked to see some coins. The owner says when he brought out a tray with large coins on it, the man grabbed an 1875 Gold Double Eagle and ran.
The coin is very rare and worth about $950.

You have to consider that it is coming from the Associated Press which is not really in tune with numismatic values and rarity, $950 for any
coin is going to seem like a lot of money to an uninformed staff writer.
