Coins sold recently on Teletrade are now on Ebay

Are these people flippers or people who need the money? Prices on Teletrade are usually too high to make immediate reselling on eBay feasible.

I have seen it quite often. See it much more with heritage coins. If a coin is bought for $100 on heritage, its put up for $150 on ebay. Even if its way over the sheet. There are a few sellers who do this all the time.

Legitimate dealers get a good portion of their inventory from Heritage. I doubt the same is true of Teletrade.

Occasionally some good buys can be made on Teletrade for resale on eBay. I've done it myself with bulk lots of IKE dollars.

But you've got to have set bidding limits or you'll end up on the short end of the stick!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Flippers. Every once in a while something will go cheap on Heritage or Teletrade. In addition, sometimes you'll get lucky and the coin will look better in hand and you can take a better picture(legit or juiced) of the coin and thus sell it for more, even after fees.

Why it does not happen often, sometime coin go way too cheap on HA or Teletrade if there are not 2 bidders running it up.

Other times it is easier to sell a coin you don't like on ebay for a loss than try to return it.
I seldom check PM's but do check emails often jason@seated.org

I agree. I have done this with coins I was disappointed in- take the hit and be done with it.

I have seen people buy on Ebay then immediatly put the coins on BST at a 50% mark-up. I don't know if they ever sell but I have seen it alot, usually with toned Morgans.
