Purchased from topdollarpaid (Sun City Coin) raw, and just got the grade today.

I really don't collect Barbers, but I just liked it and bought it:

  • Beautiful....and I don't care for barbers that much.

Perhaps the image is a bit overexposed, but the coin does not look to have original surfaces to me and appears to have possibly been treated at one time to lighten those surfaces.

Looks like a text book XF 45.

    Nice coin.

It might have been gently cleaned, generations ago. Nevertheless, I like the look of it and may be willing to give it a sticker.

Hmmmm. I have to admit I'm not crazy about the toning or what appears to be possible burnishing of the eagle.

  • Classic XF-45...lots of crust with significant eye appeal...for those that like mid-grade Barber halves. Congrats on the acquisition...you done good!
