A nice piece I recently picked up cheap; lines are die polish.

    I'm thinking 63-64.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
  • On a good day - 64, because the graders had been looking at so many beat up Morgans that they thought this looked pretty good.
On a normal day - 63, because the graders took into consideration the detracting marks on Liberty's face.
On a bad day - BB, because the graders didn't accept the fact that the lines were the result of die polish.

64 shot 65 depending on whether the scrape on the cheek is really that severe or if the lighting is exaggerating it.

At least a 64, but those rim nicks probably keep it out of a 65 holder.

I have found that both PCGS and NGC are quite accurate in determining the difference between die polish lines and hairlines.

nice but some wear/hits on the high points. reverse rim dings at 7 o'clock. I can't give ya more than a 62/63.

  • Looks like a pretty nice coin and I would say it's about an MS64.
