Don't know if PCGS qualifies this scenario as "questionable color" though.
The colors are attractive.

Are coins considered 'guilty' if the grading service is on the fence?
I would rather they say the coin is AT than questionable.
IMO, if they can't say it's AT, then it should grade.
Altered surfaces should be more detailed.
But that's JMO

I agree. You have a coin that you think the color is questionable. You send it in to the experts along with your fee and they send it back and say, Yep questionable color!

Looks like one I saw at a shop in Scottdale.
I can understand “questionable” it just means the graders were not able to distinguish with certainty the tones as represented.
