spot on a matty suggestions

so i bought my 09 pr64r/b matty a lil time ago.

under 5x magnification all looked ok right but the becoka did a high power close-up of this area....yuck in away...looking too close at times is sad.

so first off....does this look like a prior repaired area?

second...would pcgs address this area without regrading if insisting that even can even be requested

    Looks like maybe some chemical came in contact that has turned corrosive over time?

    I think if you blow up any coin this large you will see little spots and things.

    but they're so small at 10x i'd have to get glasses to see the lenseimage

    besides everything looks better with 5....case in pointimage

    Wow, the discoloration isn't too bad on the full coin pic. But, that close up looks terrible. I guess once you know its there, you can't really miss it though.

    You can ask PCGS to review it. You can also ask them to remove the gunk.

    If they deem it not removable then they will offer to buy the coin from you or send it back as is.

    I did this with an MS68 Lincoln and they bought it from me for a fair price. Just be sure to print the photos of the questionable areas and send them with a letter describing your concerns.

    It took about 3 months for mine to get through the system but I also came out a little ahead so I could go find another one without issues.
