I just purchased an original box of five of these. All were pegs with strong DDO. I need to determine which variety it is. I can't really tell if it is the one PCGS recognizes.

Not much of a premium if any at all on that FPL 1971-S Silver Proof Stefanie!

Please photograph the motto at these same settings as DDO's are frequent with the Straight Pegleg and the Fading Pegleg.

What year is the coin?

On some years the Peg Leg is rare and on others almost common.

1971-S was my first pick too, and besides I don't know if I can afford to lose the buck you would want.

According to Ike Group about 1 in 20 are peg leg on the 1971-S proof Ikes.

Your 71-S looks like it might be a minor DDO.
