Just wondering what your thoughts are. I am selling a coin where the high bidder has a 3 feedback. I guess as long as the payment comes through and I require a signature it should be OK, right?
It's never really risk free unless you get paid in a money order that clears (even those are faked at times) with cash placed in your hand.
Credit cards can be bounced back at you months after the fact if the buyer says they were cheated.
Cleared checks can be reneged upon if the buyer can somehow show some intent to deceive or fraud...even if they are lying.
I don't think there is any real absolute protection other than cash. An aggressive and artful crook can find a way to turn back the charges and end up with your merchandise for free. While the odds of this are slim, it happens.
You can never tell which ebay buyers will end up giving you trouble based on feedback alone. Selling is always a risk. Ship it and cover your butt the best you can.
Because of Microsoft's rebate program, many eBay buyers are opening additional eBay accounts to take advantage of the cashback offer. Many gold coin purchases are being made by this type of bidder.

Also, an NGC coin and you list the PCGS price guide! That's just plain unethical!
