Grade my Lincolns and is this a clip or post damage?

The first one has some woodgraining(IMO) going on and and small cud on the reverse.
I'm not sure if its a partial clip or post mint damage?

It may just have been a planchet defect during striking.

I agree. I don't think it's a clip, but it does look like it could be a planchet flaw of some kind.

Planchet flaw... Metal break, or splitting during the striking process.

Woodgrains often have lamination peels so it might have been a peel that lifted up and got torn off.

First coin MS63BN - it's a planchet flaw, and that's not a CUD on the reverse, it's a retained CUD. The die is broken but the piece is still there.

Second coin is MS63RD.

Third coin is MS60RD.

62BN, 63RB, 62RB (in order or appearance).

I generally like the character of the 1909 Lincolns. Streaking, woodgrain, coarseness, etc. Carbon spotting is distracting here.

Grade my Lincolns and is this a clip or post damage?
