No more silver dollar "Bulk Bin"...

lkeneficlkenefic Posts: 8,796 ✭✭✭✭✭
My local B&M shop used to have a "bulk Morgan" bin where the coins (lower grade) were priced a few dollars above spot... it's now gone. What do yo all make of this? Do you think they were purchased when silver was >$15/oz and now they can't turn a profit?

if they are like the B&Ms around here... they try to make customers
happy by selling bags of 90% silver. Somtimes they over extend themselves doing that favor and have to scrounge around the store
to fill out the bag as promised. Thus every near melt piece is taken
from every crevice of the store and sold.

My guess is not enough to fill the bin. Might have pulled it due to running low or out of them.
