I guess someone has been buying "Deals" off of eBay. Too bad.
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector. Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.
What are the chances this guy will drop out of the hobby? Sad.

What a great learning tool it would be if photos with diagnostics were available to view of these "not genuine" submissions... that alone would be worth the membership dues...
psst hey David this would make a nice addition to coinfacts...
If you can't swim you better stay in the boat.......
Holy Cow- I agree that it is someone testing their fakes against PCGS. I doubt even the unluckiest, most uneducated E-Bay bidder would go 0 for 8 with all 8 coins being counterfeit. There would at least be a few "Cleaned" or "Damaged" or "Altered Surfaces" coins mixed in.

<< <i>I suspect this is a Chinese submission, testing their new dies on PCGS.

Excellent point. The chances of winning only fraudulant coins are slim. Mike

First thing that occurred to me as well. Note to eBay buyers: If it sounds to good to be true, it almost certainly is.

The only thing holding them back was that little "not genuine" thing that PCGS found.
