Question about the 1866-S Seated Half "No Motto"???

Can I get some feedback from the Seated guys out there, or anyone else, on the difficulty/scarcity of this particular coin variety?image

29 have been graded by NGC. I don't know about PCGS.

This NGC Census seems really low, especially since EF and above coins at NGC only number 15 coins.

This is a rare coin that becomes difficult to achieve in VF and higher. One that really doesn't get the appreciation it deserves.

    Here is my example.

A MS62 just sold in the Heritage Long Beach Sale.
Take a look at their archives.
It sold for allot less than I though. Like 15k or something.
  • It's always available for a price........ scarce ??? maybe.......... hard to find ???? No...........

it is somewhat scarce, not like the 70,74 or 78 cc's but not respected either.

I would say it is scarcer than the 39 ND and more common than the 50-52 where are priced so cheap in trends it's funny
I seldom check PM's but do check emails often jason@seated.org

I understand that this coin is being hoarded severely, and has been for a long time. It's not on my "underrated" list for Seated coins.
