I just bought this book. $8 used @ Amazon. Good read and scary at the same time. Need any info on a card? lmk

    I just went to the library and checked out the same book. It is very interesting. It is kind of funny to look at some of the cards that are from the 80's that are now close to worthless that were once counterfeited.

    A person could make a huge collection of just counterfeits. I imagine most would be hard to locate.

    I can imagine asking sellers of 1987 Fleer Ruben Sierra this..

    BUYER- "Hello sir, Can I get a 16x closeup of the trademark above the team logo so I can tell if this card is real or not?"
    SELLER- "No need for the scan, it's real. "
    BUYER- "Actually, I'm looking for a counterfeit copy."
