    Run away.
    Many happy BST transactions
  • Decent strike for an O, but looks too slick, figure its lightly polished/buffed, but hard to tell.

<< <i>where are the hirlines? or friction? >>

The coin was photograghed at a weird angle most likely to hide something, but in the 2 pictures that have a slight golden tone to them you can see friction just about everywhere you look.It appears to be light friction, but that is all it takes to keep a coin from grading MS.

if you considered buying that coin, even for a second, you need
to step away from ebay and learn how to grade and interpret pics
    better.

that coin is buffed. deceptive pictures all at angles and strange
lighting. UNC should have booming luster easily seen.

that is a perfect example of a coin, if you bought it and had a small
inkling how to grade, you would groan with how big a mistake you
    just made buying it.

    run.

did not think of that but the slab/raw ratio is 30%slab 70% raw

With those photos, a long warning about grading being subjective, NO PAYPAL, I don't think so. And why wouldn't you have an uncirculated 96 O graded unless it was a problem coin?

Those "photos" were edited on a computer.

  • Reading through the seller's feedback was kinda funny. He got a negative from someone (newbie) on a complete set 41-58 lincolns. The buyer negged him because it didn't have the 55 ddo. Sold for like 8 bucks.

    AU55, probably cleaned.

Forrest should run from all auctions where the seller uses large fonts and feels compelled to pump up their stuff by cutting and pasting the designer's biography and giving the weight to 5 decimal places.

A coin that should be in a major brand slab, but isn't. There is a reason. Pass.
