    i'm in the 55 crowd...wear is a little strong for 58 to me...sweet coin
everything in life is but merely on loan to us by our appreciation....lose your appreciation and see

  • Thanks. In hand it does not seem to have the "wear" look. It seems be be weakly struck.

I do not like that carbon spot at 3 o'clock

What crowd? You're the only one who replied, until I came along and rescued this thread from oblivion! image

I'll agree with everything said, though.

Two's company. Now, if we get one more person to agree, then three's a crowd. image

It is indeed hard (for me, anyway) to tell wear from strike issues. As a matter of fact, I gave somebody on the forums two Morgans recently, which I'd graded AU55 and AU58, and he got both of them back graded MS63!

I don't think that's a carbon spot at 3:00, Wayne. Just a small stain of some sort. It's a minor detraction, but it didn't leap out at me and I frankly didn't really notice it that much until you mentioned it.

    It's a nice Morgan, regardless.
