Both corroded and harshly cleaned. Unless they are some very rare die marriage, which the possibility of such an event is extraordinarily slim, they aren't worth a whole heck of a lot.
However, half cents are desirable in any grade, unless you're a snob.
Sure, an uncleaned, original example would be nicer, but I'll take old coins like these any way I can get 'em. (At a reduced price, of course, taking the "issues" into account).
Despite the porosity and the cleaning, I do not hate that half cent.
