Babe Ruth Cut Auto-PSA authenticated

I have for sale a cut Babe autograph, believed to be signed in 1947.

This has a PSA authentication number of 81944098.

The autograph is perfect, with no bleeding or smudging.

This autograph comes with a COA from the company I purchased it from.

Along with this, I was given the fountain pen Babe is believed to have signed this with. Although I have no way of proving this, pen experts I have sent this to have verified this is from the same era.

For you Yankees fans, I am also throwing in a 1963 40th anniversary used scorecard. This is from game 2 of the World Series, NY vs Orioles.
This is in very legible writing, and is in immaculate condition.

Will email photographs of both.

  • A few months ago you said this was originally in a PSA slab but isn't now. You also said it had no COA except for some random Australian sports memorobilia company. Now it is PSA slabbed and comes with a legit COA?
  • Thanks for your interest.

The autograph is currently on eBay, and closes in some 5 hours.

If you would like further photos, please reply.

Personally, the autograph doesn't look right to me; and no, it is not in a PSA graded holder. The seller simply has the PSA flip for a Ruth autograph.

I'm still trying to figure out how the Yankees played the Orioles in Game 2 of the 1963 World Series.

The ONLY NY/Balt World Series was the NY Mets and the Orioles in 1969 and had nothing to do with the Yankees. Do you have the pencil that the scorecard was believed to be scored with, too?

Good scam move. Buy a real Ruth, crack it open, use the flip to sell your fake. That Ruth auto looks horrible. And what is that silly thing its in? Even if it were real, it kills the presentation.
  • I was going to report it but it only has 4 hours left and no bids. I guess he thought all Americans were dumb.

What's really funny is that his eBay description says, "Im also throwing in a 1963 NY Yankees 40th anniversary scorecard from game 2 of the World Series (Yankees vs Oracles). This has the entire game scored in neat, legible writing by an obvious fanatic at the time."

I may bid on this just because I am a huge Oracles fanatic

First, that was the second game of a double header played that day, NOT THE WORLD SERIES!

Second, the PSA serial number (81944098) that you provided is not valid. Check Here

Keep providing more information so we can keep shooting holes in your story!

Yes, I just did because of the phony certification number. And that is a FACT!

And how can YOU prove that the flip belongs to that specific cut when its not slabbed???? Scammer.
  • Everyone feel free to report his other fake autos for sale. Make sure you read his auction descriptions regarding COAs. One says "from a US dealer" and the other is from "a renowned sports memorobilia dealer".
  • That Ali looks terrible.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
