1958d FBL Franklin w/die error? help neeed

I have this franklin it looks to have a double date also a few letters and is this a FBL? with a die error? any help is appreciated, thanks,MoJo

    Interesting that what appears as doubling isn't throughout but only in certain area.

    BTW, better check your glasses (or get some)!

    You can see "double" but entirely miss the date?

    BTW, IMHO the Franky appears to be MS 63ish w FBL even with the crack

    being right on the bell lines. That being said, I don't believe the crack is anything

    of major concern, other than what it is! A die crack. Dbling ... Hmmmm - dunno!

    Looks like a fairly normal/ regular CH BU 58-D FBL to me. image

    Sell it on the bay and save up for a 65 FBL. image

    LMAO thanks Boom for pointing that out to me ,another sleepless night and looking at the Franklins I got the date wrong,but I do see some doubling on the date lol

  • Very interesting indeed. It appears that it was struck just a bit off center possibly creating that doubling in the date area.
