Half Dime with Reverse Retained Cud

this coin used to be in the collection of Russ Logan. I was fortunate enough to obtain it via an auction organized by Brad Karoleff. Not a rare die marriage or excessively rare die state/stage or high grade, just a nice coin.

  • I want one of those! I am a sucker for die breaks, recut letters and dates, and especially retained cuds. That is a very cool coin. The "Law Collection" may have the highest graded coins, but do they have stunning examples of rare/uncommon die marriages/remarriages?

I think Barndog and MrHalfDime should get together and set up an educational exhibit of their collections at a major show. I would travel anywhere in the country to see it if that ever happened.
