If you lived in St Mary's County, you'd say "Dee by God, Cap'n."
I have lived here for 21 years and still have no freakin' clue what that means.

    Anyone else for Ocean City??

From St.Marys Co to Va Beach wow how do you explain that?

I can remember moving down here in Waldorf Md in 1984, and still don't understand why there are so many good people in Southern Md. But when you mention "FREAKIN" in your reply that is a good sign of why you have some sort of St Mary's Co. in your blood TooTawl.image

You have it a little backwards. I grew up in Va. Beach and moved to St Mary's County in 1987 to work on an air traffic control program for aircraft carriers.

I take it back. Were u at Pax Tootawl or did you work out of Page field. When I worked for my dad as a caulker I did some work all the way down near St Marys College and there were some cool Navy annex spots that were restricted, some interesting things going on. Again Sorry Va Beach guy. LOL.

  • Let's see...

    Friday at White Plains...

Drive down late that night, stay at our place in Fenwick...

    Ocean City on Saturday...

Drive back to New Jersey late Saturday night...

    Parsippany on Sunday...

Got nothing better to do. Sounds good.

I live on a small parcel of land of 7 acres near Dr Mudds house. Yes Waldorf is a hell hole. Built of way to fast. Seems like Dc people moved to Prince George Co which is Clinton and now is taking over Waldorf. I went to Burlington Coat factory the other day to get a winter jacket for my big azz and out from the echo's of the night I hear a racist comment of a boo boo stating there's another cracka with disabled tags taking your parking space grandma. Now what does that have to do with race.

And Tootawl, Nessea is the place I did work at, that's right before you get down to St Mary's college. I did work for a firm called Benefield or something like that, weird cracker box buildings old war prefabs. 21 years huh, I guess you know where Rosies is too in Lexington Pk I won't tell anyone else where that is ok Tootawl.

EVERYONE knows where Rosies II is! I swear on my mom's grave that I have never set foot into that place. I've heard way too many things about the girls (or should I say mature women) that "wpork" there. If you drive by there around 10pm, there are few cars parked there but there are plenty parked at the furniture place next door. The very same furniture place that closes at 7. I guess people don;t want to be seen parked at Rosies so they park at a store that has been closed for several hours.

St Inigoes (NESEA) is actually a few miles south St Mary's college.

  • I'm going to OC to hang in the rain, but a weekend too early. And I'm a Baltimoron born and raised. No silly "De-own de o'shun hon" speech impeds here. Though I stumble on ambulance and aluminum.

Ok i remember where Nesea is now, I went down there a few times also to give estimates. What was that turn off right before you come into St Mary's somekind of Navy base or something like that. Do you know what I mean? Ok Rosies, I went in there one time with a friend that was working for me, we had to wait for concrete to be delivered in the afternoon so my friend took me there. Let me tell you it's was a crud hole. Trash is not a pleasant name for those girls. Isn't funny and a small world. I like to meet you sometime Tootawl, I know we got off to a rough start on here, but I am just a plain old guy that has a opinion also and some don't like me if I'm not on the same page. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories. Be Good George (YAHA)

I'd like to go. Seeing as how I'm just now getting back into the coin collecting scene, anyone want to possibly meet up for breakfast and chat beforehand? I need some coin buddies that I don't just know online.

THEGENERAL over at the Currency forum said that the show chairman said that there will be only 35 dealers at the show. I don't think only 35 dealers is worth the 7 hour round trip drive and a hotel room.
