  This coin appears to have too many issues to be slabbed unless placed in a Genuine holder.

  PCGS is not forgiving of old coins. No chance of getting the posted coin in a PCGS holder.

  If it's original it has a 100% chance of slabbing.

  In my opinon, yes. The scratch is also a problem, but the pitting/corrosion are far, far more problematic.

  The coins posted by abitofthisabitofthat were also harshly cleaned in addition to the corrosion. However, the piece posted by jgrinz most definitely appears beyond the bounds of PCGS encapsulation other than their "Genuine" service.
