Toned with a VAM surprise, looking for vam help

mustanggtmustanggt Posts: 2,682 ✭✭✭✭✭
I was looking at a couple vams that I bought at Long Beach and one of my favorite toners was in the same box. It is an NGC MS 60 1884 O. As I looked at the mint mark I though it might be oneof the many O/O's. Blu62vette took a closeup for me this morning and while I am not sure yet what vam it is, it sure shows well in the picture.

Any suggestions on which vam this is?

I suspect VAM-8 or VAM-48. Those two come closest to matching the pictures of the O/O shown in your photos. The pictures on the page for VAM-48 look the most like yours but I cant see any die pitting above the eagles left wing around trust.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

Direwolf, thanks for the suggestion. I checked for pitting with a loupe and could find none so I will go with the vam 8.
