Lincolncent error/var. question .

I just broke into a small collection I purchased and found 2 steel cents in bu . A 1943 with light doubling in the date and around the top of Lincoln's head also a 1943 d with strong doubling of the date mm and top of lincoln's head on the reverse of this coin one of the wheat stalks shows light doubling as well.

Has anyone heard of or seen anything like this on these years the 43d is not the RPM . Also anyone know current pric of the 99 wide "AM" ?

For the steel cents, I think what you may have is strike doubling...

99.5% chance your coin suffers from very common die deterioration. This happened a LOT with the steel cents and has been reported numerous times as die doubling where in fact it is not.
