1897 Morgan Die Clash - VAM ??
Do Morgan Die Clash coins get recorded as VAM's?
I picked this one up today after noticing the image transfer next to the Eagle's neck on the reverse.

After more examination, I could also see Liberty's nose and lips right between the two left clumps near the top of the wreath to the left.

The full length of her nose can also be seen but my photographic skills are a bit weak.
Anyway, is this a known VAM if it actually qualifies as a VAM? I didn;t see anything on the VAMWorld Web Page.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

<< <i>it is just a clash and does not designate a vam >>
Interesting since this one appears to only be a die clash.

That one has an n transfer on it. THe 1886 VAM 1c I think is the only no letter transfer vam clash.
I love clashing and am not so good at finding the ones with letters transferred, I have several you think would be good vams. 1897 has no vams based on clashes. Look for doubling in the date, wreath adn cap to figure out the vam on that one.
