Two new coins from last week, a No "FG" Kennedy and one of those CirCams everyone loves!!!

Firstly, please excuse my ineptness with the camera!!!
The Kennedy Half-Dollar is a 1982-P which is missing the designers initials as indicated by the arrow. The picture clearly shows the die polish lines, especially on the obverse. Overall the coin is quite clean, much moreso than another I have, and strikes me as an earlier die state if that makes sense. The only real distraction is the reeding impression on JFK's forehead and the fact that the coin looks a bit hazy from prolonged storage in a bad flip. I intend to rinse with acetone and submit to NGC since that the company holder that my Kennedys are residing in. I see the coin as grading MS65 but I think that depends on being graded as an error. As a regular issue it would probably grade MS63 or lower.

This next coin is one of those well circulated 19th Century issues that takes on the appearance of a Cameo Proof regarding the contrast between the dark fields and the well worn devices and lettering. I found this while helping the local dealer by manning the "50% off boxes" that collectors delight in searching through to fill holes in folders/binders. A quick glassing shows that it hasn't been cleaned and the fields are smooth as glass. Evidentally it spent quite awhile in pockets and palms before it ended up being set aside, probably around the time when IHC's faded into obsolescence. Anyway, it's stabalized nicely and has found a home where someone will probably wonder why I ever kept it.
Thanks and enjoy!!
