    If you have studied the series you collect and know what to look for e-bay is a great place for RAW coins.

    If you have no clue then forget about it.

    Have you recieved it yet? How does it look in person? What does it grade? Based on the photos, it looks like an AU-58 to MS62.

    I received it today. It looks great in person - the nicest 77-S I've seen with a chopmark. I grade it solid MS63/shot MS64.

    Excellent...........nice pickup. It pays to know a series as well as you know this one. I'm sure al ot of potential buyers were scared off due to no plastic surrounding it. I know I would've been.

    I just happened to see it. Was worried about hidden lines that always plague these, but they are very light in this instance.

    It has my favorite circumstance for a chopped trade dollar - one single chop in the obverse field. Simple, but majestic in its simplicity! image
