1956 D Lincolns with a misshapened "6"

Images are of three different 1956 D Lincolns.Is the "misshapen 6" a die variety or something else? I see no damage to the rim near the "6" on any of the coins.These three coins were pulled out of an accumulation of some 1200 coins all dated 1956 D.
