Man, I never have any luck finding cameo proofs from the 1950's and 1960'simage

Great looking coin, definitely a keeper. Congrats on your good fortune. Post picks of the other halves in the group when you can.

Nice scores! Just goes to show that there are still nice cameos to be found out there.

I haven't scored like that in about a year, but I haven't been going to any shows lately. I will be going to a show tomorrow where I hope to see something worth buying.

In all sincerity, I see frost breaks on each of those coins. Either that, or the pics make it look so.

I agree, ! think 1-2 may make UC ATS, and maybe 3 others will cam, I will post the results when they come in.

Wow, the lettering on the bell looks like an excellent strike! Usually it's so freaking mushy!

Although, come to think of it, I don't look at too many Frankie proofs, I assume they are generally more well struck.

Eric- play with the lighting a bit. I honestly think the 1st one is a dcam and a solid 68 from the looks of it.

to be honest, i see PR/PF67CAM for a few, but anyone who seriously thinks DCAM/UCAM is being overly optimistic. my suggestion to you is to leave them sealed, only removing the 2-3 which should garner the Cameo designation. sometimes the hairlines/planchet flaws can be hard to detect through the cello, but with patience and a strong light you'll be able to see them.

These came from a phone call, I bought 90 some sets from 1956-1964..only 10 sets were 58's...nothing much in the others, the best part was I swapped him GW ms64 "smoothies" for them.

edited to add.....the jewelry business is in the dumpster right now.

So what are the pops for 68CAM and 69CAM 1958 Proof Franklins? Also what is the current value range of same?

Also, when you get the coins back from the TPG, post pics of the 69 and the best 68 (with the grades covered) so we can try to decide which one is which.

Darn the sucking going on in this thread is creating a vortex in my officeimage

    Congrats suckie!

Edit: After looking at a keyboard and seeing the "b" is not adjacent to the "t", I guess that btt is "brought to top".image
On the other hand, maybe it wasn't his finger that accidentally banged the "b". image
