Grade is in.....KaChing

At Baltimore, I used my quarterly freebie for the, then, just released, $10. 2008w burnished platinum.

Right after PCGS reversed their rule change on First Strikes, I got a call from PCGS offering it to me on this coin as it was submitted within 30 days of issue, if I wanted to pay the First Strike fee. I, happily, replied sure.

I used a loupe at 5x, 10x and 20x on this coin and couldn't find a thing. Still, I figured....they would and it would be MS69.

The grade was just posted. It's a First Strike MS70!

That makes every $10 2008 platinum that I submitted from either direct Mint purchase of just one coin, as well as the one uncirculated that I bought sight-unseen, all making 70's in their respective PR or MS grade for this year.

Not that I'm selling any of them, I have a complete collection of them. I'm curious though what these three all grading 70 and the proof and burnished both in First Strike holders would bring on the market. If anyone has an idea, I'd like to hear it. This isn't an offer to sell, though, and I want to be very clear on that.
