Washington Quarter Help Errors and Varieties

For an exhibit at our next coin show, I want to cover errors and varieties of Washington Quarters. Does anyone have a ball park figure of the number of recognized errors and varieties?

I know there are 8 different types of errors, so that number may be what to include in the exhibit. There are recognized varieties and the number of varieties is what I am looking for.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check the CONECA master listings here.

I also recommend getting a copy of the 'Cherrypicker's Guide to Rare Die Varieties'. They cover most of the biggest ones, and have good pictures of the varieties as well...

    Good luck with the exhibit!

Here's a truly remarkable thread on
    clad quarter varieties.

It is very comprehensive when you consider that
no books exist for clad quarters except very gener-
al or highly specific ones that just mention the
    clads in passing.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
