The coin says "Three Blockheads", but I only see 2
BTW, that's super cool that they dealt in coins back in 1795 (I wonder if they dealt in Colonial pieces b/c the FH coins would have been considered "Modern")

I was going to leave an explaination with the token but then I thought..... I'll wait to see if someone questions it
So I will answer with a quote taken from another site:
"Denton's London (Middlesex) copper Conder farthing token 1795. Obverse: Two face-to-face 'worthies': "WE THREE BLOCKHEADS BE 1795". Reverse: Text on six lines, the first and last curved: "DENTON DEALER IN COINS HOSPITAL GATE SMITHFIELD". Plain edge. Denton was a coin dealer with a business at Hospital Gate, Smithfield, London. He published the first four volumes of "Vitrtuoso's Companion and Coin Collector's Guide" from this address in 1795-96.
Denton fancied himself as a wit. The answer to "Who is the third blockhead?" in the riddle "WE THREE BLOCKHEADS BE" is supposedly "YOU!".
The streaky, woodgrain planchet on the 1921-S gives the coin much character in my opinion. Sorta lets you know what mint that it is from even before you look for the mintmark. Sweet Lincoln, Lee.

I realized today that I never imaged this coin since I bought it quite some time ago. Of course the individual that I purchased it from provided a stellar image from the get-go.

I remember the super lustre and color on that one.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday. Got a cookout to go to later.

Maybe it was funnier then

I got this about 6 months ago at the Parsippany show, from Ralph Savarese,
And this one from the last Baltimore show from Jack Lee
Both are in OGH's graded 66RD
