Our boy got a real surprise in the mail today (TTM)

image

He sent him a 2008 Heritage and got this in return.
After looking on ebay it certainly looks to be the real deal.

It's a shame he used such a glossy card with the sharpie but nonetheless our boy is absolutely thrilled.

Wow goose. That was really nice of Mr Sizemore.

He just picked up a new fan.

Unfortunately those cards are not close friends with the sharpie as you can see.

Does this happen alot where they might swap out cards? Kinda cool.

I'm curious why he didn't sign/send the Heritage card.

Any ideas anyone? Is he possibly bound by some contract where he can only sign UD?

Heard Peyton Manning on a morning show while visiting Indy. Said he will do this from time to time ... if it's a piece he really likes, he will keep it and send something in its place.

    Understandable, I guess.

    Nice Sizemore!

There is a good posibility he has a stack of his own cards that he signs in large quantities, then, as requests come in, he (read his people) sends one of them out.

This is also very possible. I've had guys ask if they can keep a card of mine and sign a different one, just because they've never seen it before. Jesus Flores (C, Nationals), Jonathon Broxton (P, Dodgers) and Andy Laroche (3B, now Pirate) did it this spring.
