1909 VDB DDO-Would appreciate comments on reverse die - Caution Dial Uppers

What are the chances that a Matte Proof die was used in the striking of the reverse of this 1909 VDB - DDO? Coin is owned by Pete Miller and is part of the ESM Collection.

Looks like nice detail and a lot of die polish. The thing I would look for is the "Crescent" shape diagnostic to the right of the M in UNUM. Keep us posted.

No the diagnostic isn't there. I just saw all the little pebbles and got curious (and a little excited for Pete). Sorry false alarm.

I just took a good look at my 66RD DDO and it too has the same reverse die (as suspected) /

The die polish lines between the I and B on pluribus are the same.

One die fits all.....but its not the mattie die.
