Alright, here's the situation: If you have a player who is pending
a trade does his stats become frozen, and why?

    I have never heard of any players stats being frozen- Im not sure I even know what you mean, the stats of a traded player count in any league I have ever been in.

    Let me clarify: Let's just say someone offered to trade Youkilis
    for Pedroia. (Pedroia is on my team) While I am thinking about
    this trade (pending), Pedroia's stats are not counting? (Even though
    he is playing are putting up stats) Does this make any sense?

    The other possibility is: Once players establish position,
    do they ever lose position eligibility? I seriously think not,
    especially since their position(s) are listed next to their name.

    If you didn't accept the trade yet, and he is in your lineup, his stats should count. Even if you accepted the trade, and it is in the league approval phase, his stats still count for you until the actual day he switches rosters. Unless there is some special setting in your league, I don't get it.

    Did you reach the max innings for his position, maybe? A long shot but I can't think of anything else.

    The only thing I can add is in my league we start a "New week" on Monday morning- any trade or pick up during that new week doesnt get added to your roster until the following Monday then you put the new player in your lineup- all stats from that player the previous week are on the origanal owners statsheet.

    For example- week 2 I start Pedroia on Monday and trade him on wednesday- I get all of Pedroia's stats until that Sunday night and then he is gone from my team.

    numbers yesterday, and I got nothing. image

    In Yahoo, if there is no league approval, I believe if you make a trade on Thursday, it will not be reflected in your lineup until Friday. Thus, even if you made the trade before Miggy's game was played, he won't join your team until the next day.

    No trade was made, but another player was presented as a
    trade offer. I was thinking because an offer was made for Miggy,
    his status was placed in limbo? Anyways, the proposed trade was
    subsequently denied.
