A new scam on Ebay???????

    If you look at the sellers feedback profile, all of the previous items are "Private." What benefits are there to doing this ??

    There used to be more reasons for making listings private than now, but there are still some valid reasons.

    Before Ebay made the bidders ID like they are now you would have scammers or other legitimate sellers sending offers to the bidders and selling them the item that way. Many times this was a scam.

    The only valid reason now would be to protect the buyer from others know what he has purchased.

    It used to also help hide shill bidding and still can do so.

    I really don't see what the scam is here other than they may be producing illegal cards, but most of those photos are considered public domain so there is really no crime there.

    Way over priced, but a neat concept. If its public domain any of us can create our own cards.

    If its public domain any of us can create our own cards. There is a Ebay guy who does this- I think his name is marketingman or something. Nothing wrong with creating a cool collectable but for some reason these type of sellers are looking for a few big kills............
