Strange error in 2008 Topps series 2

Last year Jose Reyes had a card serial numbered 000/000 and in this year's 2008 Topps series 2 he has a 2007 Highlights Relic card with a Black Jersey swatch. The only problem is the back of the card is HR-VG Vlad Guerrero 7th silver slugger award. What is this and was it corrected? Tuff stuff has the Vlad card listed and the Reyes card listed also with no mention of any error. Mike

    Topps Football has a wrongback error that has not been corrected yet. I doubt there is a correction, most cards seem to be printed in one run instead of a several like they used to be so more and more error go uncorrected.

    So, how would there be 3 versions- or is Tuff Stuff just parroting the checklist?

    The regular Vlad highlights Jersey is gray....The Reyes card has a black swatch which makes me believe the rocket scientists at Topps glued the wrong back to the Reyes front......
