1866 Silver 3 Cent PCGS PR64

I 'm going to bid on a lot of coins tomorrow and included is a 1866 silver 3 cent PR64 in a old green PCGS holder. I can't find much of a selling history on this coin. Anyone know of a price that would be fair to both of us ?

In the $800-$900 range if its not a dog or not undergraded.
  • I think they cap out right around 1k.

  • I have paid $1,000 for PR 64 trimes - if they are really pretty. I think this series is all about eye appeal. Many coins are quite dark, and would be worth much less. Good luck.

Some of those dark ones can have a lot of color hidden in them at the right angles.
