yeah I had mine in hand with a 20Xloupe looking at the die markers on the reverse and comparing ...couldnt see anything there....

???Something in the lilac toning on the reverse, and the angle of the woodgraining matched my mattie perfectly.

Well, we shall see......boo HOO on those lousy pictures.

  • Pics aren't great but that might go MS64RB. Worth $100 as a circ. strike.

    Worth $3K as a mattie!

If you really thought it was a mattie, would you auction this off uncertified?

    Nuff said.

The seller seems quite reputable I purchased a 14D from him last year. A lot of his coins are raw, some are cert.

In the description, the seller says it is "uncirculated". He says it is "business strike". What more do you want him to say? It amazes me how many collectors jump at any item that "feels" like a bargin. NEVER buy a MPL that is NOT slabbed by PCGS or NGC. There IS a reason the seller did not get it slabbed. Use common sense and save some money. If you want to take a flyer, try the lottery. At least there you have better odds. JMHO. Steveimage

but has no problem putting up small pics on ebay, troll with the
matte bait, and try to get a sucker who does not know any better.

in my book, that is a borderline scam artist. a seller to avoid.

Just have to play the system. As long as he has a return policy, it's worth a shot.

so in other words ethics and honesty are meaningless as long as you
have a return policy. not in my book.

e-bay seems to not have any ethics either.
