Hey! Who's the cornhole that stole my scans and put them on their website?

A while back, I started a thread about the 1988 Burger King Emmitt Smith card. I realized that my copy was a fake slabbed by PSA. I compared it to my BGS version and it was missing the "R" next to the logos on the card.
Somebody that reads the boards, stole my scans for use on their website. The BGS version and the PSA version on the bottom are mine.
Okay, who did it? I'm not mad but I am curious as to who it is.
Here is the link to the website:

<< <i>. I'm all about helping folks out but I am out of pocket for all site related expenses. Considering that I'm not even breaking even on the site it would be great if someone else would ask before trying to make a buck off my work. >>
I see what your saying. I don't mind about my scans being used. What they're being used for is helpful for somebody wanting info on this card. The less money a scammer makes is always a good thing.
On the other hand, I should have been asked before my scans were used.

i do well to get my website to work, i dot have the brains to crop a pic and steal it lol
Here is the issue:
We want everybody to use the stuff, so that they do not get ripped-off.
OTOH, when a "dealer" uses the stuff "to sell" his merch, somehow we
feel slighted. Gotta fight that feeling, within reason.
IF somebody uses my stuff to "inform/educate" THEIR customers, it is
NOT a problem.
IF somebody sells my stuff, it would be a problem; unless I was paid.
Taking a "liberal" approach is the best way to go.
<< <i>Matt, coincidentally (and perhaps even more alarming from your perspective), I was doing my daily reading at www.everythinggourdsemmitttandbobbybrady.com and found the following being discussed:
DING!! DING!! DING!! And that's the reason I've never put pics of me or my family on this sight, even though there are times I've wanted to "share my pic"
That is alarming Detroit.
And it wasn't me who stole your scans either Matt.

Yeah, the title of this thread doesn't seem mad at all.

He popped up on the eBay discussion board awhile back and has been borrowing scans and or info that others have posted and plays it off that it all came from him.
One of the long time members at the board started a thread on Vintage Sports Card Collecting 101 + List of Commonly Forged Cards on June 25th 2005.
Then on Nov 19th 2005 this person (Andrew) made a guide that at the time was word for word and picture for picture the exact same thing but claimed it as his own work. He's changed it since but there are still some things that are the same.
Top 27: Most Counterfeited Vintage Sports Cards
Here's a thread he started thinking that everyone had forgot who he was but the regulars clearly remembered him. Fake Sports Card Group Created
And just found something rather amusing while searching some of his threads on eBay.

i think that you might be able to contact the website that they are placing the information on and let them know that the perps are taking information without your permission and placing it on there

As an author you automatically own the copywrite of anything you write unless you actually assign it elsewhere.
So he was upset that others were using his info that he had stolen from others (pictures/scans and text) and wanted to know about copyright laws.
I also recall someone called him out on the Beckett board for borrowing info and scans without permission.
And of course there are more important things to worry about but this sad individual has been borrowing from people without their consent for a long time just to I guess inflate his ego and make others think he is so smart and important. But that's just my opinion.
