Seller Dispute Part 2: PayPal verdict & more seller rants,

You may remember a few weeks ago, I posted about a situation I was involved iin with a seller over a Roosevelt set that was advertised to be uncirculated" and wasn't. Started a claim with Paypal and they found in my favor.

After that post, seems a few Board members contacted this seller and he found his way to these Boards. Thereafter, I was sent a few more emails prompted by his visits to these Boards. Here are a few comments about his visits to this Boards:

"Obviously you have spent your entire weekend bad mouthing me on different forums. A couple of your buddies have emailed me. Were arguing over 9 bucks, yet your going to take your entire weekend whining, b*tch*ng and basically hiring hit men over a lousy 9 bucks. Oh let me guess, Its the principle....honest to god I have no clue where people like you come from."

"Just read over the PCGS. Man you people have a whole lot of time and nothing to do but be bitter, cynical, and hate your lives. All this activity over 9 lousy bucks. You know if your email to me hadnt been so arrogant right off the bat Im sure I would have refunded all of your money, but if I did that now your geekfest friends would act like they all had sex without having to get a hooker, for once!!!...lol. Good luck losers, I feel for ya...."

"I have to tell you I have had more of a kick reading over your little PCGS message board. You would think I would have killed and tortured a busload of children and took down the twin towers again in NYC. All of this over 9 bucks. I imagine you have had conference calls, meetings, sleepless nights, organizing conventions all in the hopes of destroyng me and making sure I never sell buy or even look at a coin again. My God, maybe if you had ever been loved in your life you would not be sooooooooooooooo Bitter, all for 9 bucks.! My guess is if Paypal rewards you the whole extra nine bucks you will rent a plane and scroll the message, I won I feel almost 5 and a half feet tall!!!you will party for days and days, you will be so deleriously happy they will have to surgery stop the ear to ear grin, and all for just nine bucks. Wow are you a loser, oh yea your just doing this all for "the principle" right? Ill bet youll start up message boards on every website worldwide after this email.....Lemme guess another thing about you, you're like 5'5 or 5'6 inches tall arent ya? LOLOLOLOLO God love ya buddy....someone has too I guess"

"Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy heard from another of your partners in athletics today, good for you. I think you should open a new link on your little chess club PCGS board saying, well wha do ya'll think I should say in my negative I's a gonna give em? When you leave me that neg you can go back to your chess club and much like Goerge W. does after he bumbles through a press conference and says with a smirk to one of his cronies.."nailed it". LOL you probably like ol GW so you'll take that as a compliment.. Yep your gonna burn me all right. Im not sleepin these days thats for sure and oh ya, goodluck getting those 9 buckaroonies back on Paypal!! Im sure ya will with that 24/7 effort."

"I have a feeling though with all the fuss and posting you have done on the PCGS boards and God knows where else you want to give me a neg for principles sake. That would be sad, but frankly I have seen a lot of petty silly things as a buyer and a seller here on good ol Ebay. I would still like to say I think you got a very good deal on what you bought from me, and thats my opinion and like all those verbous and rude people on PCGS, its clear everyone is allowed there opinion."

"Its clear you just wanna whine and be nasty and petty about this all over 9 bucks. Ill bet you stay up at night with excitement over how you think your KING about this....what a loser...jeez."

"Ya know, I am sure your not going to admit this, but If you didnt come at me in the first email so pompous and threatening I would have given you a full refund anyway. Its up to you if you leave me a negative, why someone would do that when they got all their money back is a mystery to me, but I also know that some people can be very mean and spiteful. Check out the nut who gave me 11 negatives and then changed his name so he could stay on Ebay. The worlds not always fair and this is an example but in the big picture of things this is a blip on the radar."

  • I will post my evaluation of the lack of logic and horrible language structure used in the replies. This should be available in approximately 7 months due to the quantity of same in the target rich environment I have viewed. The spelling and puncutaton, punkuaton punxion...uh, the commas and squiggly things corrections will require a longer period to complete. Respectfully, John Curlis

I really liked your initial "threatening" email:

    "Dear seller,
Received this item today. The set is not uncirculated. In fact, the only dimes that are uncirculated are the 54S, 55S, 59P, 60D, 61PD, and 63PD - 8 out of 48. The rest have been cleaned and worked to make them appear shiney. Please confirm back via email and I will get them back to you ASAP for a refund."

    What a dolt!

I'm thinking folks know who the real loser is here as he keeps priving it each time he types another insane email!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Reminds me of my two younger brothers when we were kids.

One would torment the other by sidling up to him and saying out of the blue: "Ya know, if you'd have been good, I would have given you a dollar."

    Enormous hilarity generally ensued.

I think he set a email record for most times using the phrase "9 bucks." I find it rather amusing and highly ironic that he ridicules you for expending all this effort and energy to get a 9-buck refund, while obviously being so obsessed to the point of taking the time to write all these e-mails. What a Grade A moron.

It is almost like a psychotic's poem. Very remarkable.
  • What a waste of time and space.

I always place a value on my time, over the course of these several emails, I think he spent more than $9 of his time. How hard is it to just say sorry you didn't like it, here is your money back.

What a loser. Sounds like he's the one with a problem. Kinda sucks for him that there's a spotlight on his selling of overgraded and misrepresented crap, though.

Whatever the situation, it is unlikely to be improved, diffused or resolved by posting the guy's emails here in the chatroom.

So did you reply to each of those prompting any of them? How about posting your mails so we can get the whole story.

I love how he mentioned 9 bucks in each reply. It's good to have a theme.
  • Where did the nine bucks come from? I saw it as 103. I also toolhaused him. Funny stuff.
  • Maybe he has his disputes mixed up?

True, but it's 1) entertaining, and 2) reminds us that there are mentally ill people selling on Ebay.

The OP is performing a public service by warning the forum members what a difficult seller this guy is.

I would think that the OP did not intent to have another board member invite the other party here, when he wrote his first (original) post on this matter.

I know that there are 2 sides to every story.
But the feedback of the other party in this particular case spoke for itself.

Why would a PCGS board member want introduce any nutjob, shady character, scammer or unstable person to the existence of these boards?

I think I need to read a few more of the seller's emails in order to be thoroughly and completely warned.
