Received my birthday presant from my sistor today, belated as it was. The time piece belonged to my Father's Father who found making a living in rather tuff at the times. (Bartender in the slums of Philly). (Which makes this Poor man's watch very speacial to me) in my Grandmother's possesion at her passing was her lifetimes savings from tips as a waitress. A 10" X 10" X 8" deep box full of coins, from the depression days. The the box contents went for her funeral . Saved from this struggle of very hard finnancial times was two gold indians, and a watch. My sistor has the other gold indian. image A sweet but bitter birthday, belated as it was.

Give me the serial number of the watch and I'll date it and tell you about it.

The case should have a serial number too but it appears to be a 12 size watch (mens dress watch) and more than likely it's 14k gold filled.
