Is this a type I Franklin?

note the eagles feathers on the right side look like a type one but the left feathers look well defined. Is this a Type one?
Also, can someone tell me a good price to pay for a type one?
Thanks

That is one peculiar looking coin. What is the date? I would expect a proof to look better than that. The only BS strike type twos were in 1958 and 1959. There was one doubled die in 1959, but it doesn't look like that.
Although the feathers look weak on the right side (viewer's) the feather tips look type 2 (3 bold feathers outside the perch versus 4 weak ones for the type 1).
Most franklin business strikes are type 1 (weak eagle)
some 1958 and 1959 bus. strikes are type 2 (strong eagle)
type1 (weak eagle) has 4 wing feathers on the left side of the bird separate from the perch and a lack of feather details on the eagles neck
then some 1956 are type 2
type 2 ( strong eagle) has 3 wing feathers on the left side of the bird separate from the perch and strong feather details on the eagles neck
then all after 1956 are type 2
the only one that seems to be important is in 1956 proofs, the type 1 is the rarer one
is that the year of your coin? (which is a type 2- 3 feathers separate)
edited for accuracy (and to avoid being slapped)
Its a 1956
the left side has more cameo contrast than the r side, that doesn't come into play here

No they are not! Lucy would slap you for that statement!
Type 2 business strikes exist for 1958 and 1959.

We have decided that this coin is type 2. That means it has to be a proof (or a new discovery). Why would we have a weak strike there?
There has been another interesting 1956 in a thread recently.

In this case the feathers to the viewer's right reminds one of a type 2. I hope to study this one further.
edited so as to bring 2 different copies into here.
