Everyone hear about the upcoming Stacks Auction?

I swear I get more emails from them than all other spam companies combined. I appreciate the notification (one time) but this is getting ridiculous. I believe I'm up to 3 a day. Anyone else top that?

It's a little excessive, but at least the coins they're promoting actually deserve being promoted...

It's cool for now - they are really primo items - but really should stop after the sale.

Cynthia LaCarbonera keeps congratulating me. Her name sounds like she might be a hottie. --Jerry

She is...she's also one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

Maybe they figure it is cheap and easy, so why not? That, or the sender is up for an employee review and they want to prove they are actually working. I have to say, they are many in number, yet never stale.
  • Yes it's getting annoying. This isn't the first sale that they've had some nice coins so I wonder if it's a new policy to send an e-mail every hour? Given the "white hot" market, why would they need to constantly remind people of the sale?

It is a rather constant flood of EMails to delete.

I have been inundated with not only Stacks, but Superior and Bowers & Merena as well. I have gotten a few things from Heritage, but they seem to be the least of the four.

A few well timed reminders are fine, but this is getting ridiculous!image

Go to Early United States Coins - to order the New "Early United States Half Dollar Vol. 1 / 1794-1807" book or the 1st new Bust Quarter book!

  • Its ridiculous how many Stacks and Bowers are sending. I'm almost ready to block them. I will never complain about the relatively reasonable number of Heritage emails again!

I have received very few emails from Stack's and not one from B&M. image

I've emailed them back with the same warning. The emails keep coming.

I usually file the coin company emails into their files on my computer. For the first time, I now delete the Stack's emails. Three a day is not working for me; it is counterproductive for Stack's to bombard me with emails.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

I agree, they are sending way too many emails.

I just got the Marshall Collection catalog from Stacks, a really cool layout of natural history stones and gems. image
