I was rotating the tires on the focus in the dark the other night and got a lug nut cross threaded. I cleaned the threads on the stud with a die nut but decided to order a new lug nut on ebay. The seller had this link in his auction. paypalsucks.com Looks like it is sponsored by a credit card processing company that wants your business so it is certainly not an unbiased source of info but I thought lots of you might get a kick out of it. The seller still accepted paypal but said "only as a last resort". It was sunday night and I couldn't call him and give him my credit card so I paid with paypal and the lug nuts shipped the next day.
I'll say that I'm very happy with paypal, have had no problems yet (knock on wood) and actually prefer it for small purchases. If I'm shipping 20 items tonight (not unusual) then paypal multiorder shipping saves me 20 to 60 minutes (when it is working right).

PayPal is the only payment method I accept.
paypalsucks.com is a private site that sells ads to anybody who wants
to buy them. It purpose is to help expose PP as the RICO-enterprise that
it actually is.
"The PayPal Wars........" is worth reading.

PayPal made its early money "clearing" money for Mafia gambling outfits,
international arms/drug peddlers, and child-porn merchants; NOT handling EBAY
transactions.
Critical mass of discontent should hit sometime early next year; AFTER PP is made
mandatory for ALL sellers on EBAY. Hopefully, many of its current honchos will
treat us to perp-walks when the FEDs finally act.
Until then, I will happily continue to use PayPal because it is perfect for EBAY transactions.
