Wait times on Submission Pops...Who has been waiting the longest???

I find myself consumed with clicking the links to each of my submissions that are at PSA to see if they have been graded....3...5...10....20 times a day....HELP!!!!!!!!!

Just a reminder to those folks that have had orders "processing" since May... if you haven't already, at least call or e-mail to make sure your submission didn't end up on the problem shelf.

Yeah, they usually call or e-mail you when that happens, but sometimes they don't... and then your order sits forever.

Ive got a 52 card sub waiting since 5/29

Even taking out 7/4 and the National days by my count its over 45 days now - the longest i've ever waited. Unless there were other days i've missed ?

I've submitted 11 times in my day, and never had to wait longer than 9 calendar days. Even my 20 free voucher subs I just sent on 7/28/08 just popped today on 8/6/08. That's even with the National happening smack-dab in the middle of my submission time. I also follow the packaging guidelines by the book, so I wonder if that helps.

My 5/29 submission by customer services count is day 48 now. Longest I have waited. I follow the instructions as well and no oddballs in this modern lot of 27. Not sure what happens in the back rooms there.

What I can't understand is why items don't just go into a first come first serve queue based on service levels. I understand it's probably easier for someone to grade a whole batch of the same issue cards etc, but that doesn't mean it's fair to people who have a lot of different collecting interests - and I'm not talking tall boys. Why would first come first serve be bad for anyone?

Well there you go - Day 48. I submit everything "by the book" as well. I think a few people have tried to figure out the way to get cards to pop quicker but there no one thing that it can be put down to. I really can't complain as it was the $5 no guarantee special but it sure is frustrating especially after seeing some $5 specials received after mine pop in record time.

For some reason mine always pop on Friday after the 45th day, so I'm hoping for Friday Popage!!

**edit to add: I sent mine on the last day of May for the May Special and I understand the order was recieved well before the 17th but the 17th is what it says on my order status.**
