"Original" mint sets from the mid-50s

I like these sets. They tone nicely and it is cool to have the set, imho.
A lot of the sets have been harvested, though, and it is always interesting to see when sellers, particularly ebay sellers, state something like:
"Original Mint Set"
Especially when they show pictures and many of the SILVER coins have little, or no, toning, while some of the coins do have toning.
Yep....the P and D do tone a bit differently. Yep, not every coin tones the same. But, when some of them are toned and some appear to have NO toning on them, don't you think that maybe, just maybe, the non-toned, at the very least, have been swapped out????
No problems in selling this as "Mint set coins in OGP" but to call them "original mint sets" is a bit hazy, imho.
I do chuckle when I see something like that and, truth be told, I am older and wiser now. A few years ago, I may have fallen for this type of auction. I like to think I wouldn't now though.
So, those of you that have them....post some ORIGINAL (I mean truly ORIGINAL) mint set pics from the mid-195x period (the double mint set days)

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
